The first on my list, obviously, is my inability to color anything worth squat, but I'm working at that. BTW, if anyone who reads this knows of a REALLY GOOD coloring guide, please, feel free to post a link, I'd really appreciate.
Second is anatomy, and perhaps more importantly, different angles. I stick to safe, actionless poses usually, because it allows me to use moderately correct proportions, the ones I've learned by rote, and mask my deep inability to draw.
Third is my linework. I use thick lines because I have trouble getting smooth lines on the first stroke, and I love thin, delicate linework. It's what I wish I could draw, and it's what I want to draw, so it's what I need to work on mastering.
My latest entry, Beshanla, is pretty much an example of how in every way I'm stagnating, and shows exactly what I need to change.
... I still like the face.

I really like that tree a lot [from Appletree].
{the sorta Bubble Leaves like yours and Pretty Trunk, how'd you do those??}

"I figure it's more like a game a' pool. You know, the way sometimes you got the feel. You got the touch. . . Then it goes. Just like that. No way to pin it down. It just slides away from ya'. . ."
Sam Shepard.
Same for the trunk, except I did the linework and swirls, shaded it on several layers, then did some dots on top of it to tie it in with the bubbly foliage.
